I Believe...

Hey BWoods Fans! Over the course of 2014, I’ve slowly compiled a list of things that I believe in. Just whenever the mood would strike me or if a situation came about that made me think about the things that were truly important to me, I’d add these random thoughts to my list. Almost all my social media contains the words “I Believe…” in my bio and I bet some of you wondered why. Well, now you know! I’ve kept this list in my phone for an entire year and I wanted to share it with you guys. This list is in no particular order and it’s totally random at times, but I thought that this would be a great blog to end 2014 with. I thought it would be cool for you guys to get in my head a little. Enjoy!

First and foremost, I believe in God. I understand that He is my saving grace and without Him I am nothing.

I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

I believe in love at first sight. It really does happen. I’d know.

I believe in the power of country music.

I believe that black is the best color on the planet; It’s classy and elegant, yet edgy and mysterious.

I believe that my family is one of the best ever. They’ve supported me wholeheartedly my whole life.

I believe in the perfect moment.

I believe that dreams really do come true. You’ve got to work hard to achieve your desires. Everything you’ve ever wanted will not just fall in your lap.

I believe in myself and that’s important.

I believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

I believe that if you believe in something strongly enough, it'll happen… good or bad.

I believe that chivalry is not dead; It’s rare, but it’s not dead. Only real men know how to treat a lady! ;)

I believe that if God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it.

I believe in miracles. They happen every day.

I believe that genuinely good people still exist.

I believe that it's okay to not be perfect.

I believe that baseball is the best sport in the whole world. It’s America’s pastime, ya know?!

I believe that it's okay to make mistakes. You will make at least 4 billion more before your time is up. You’re only human.

I believe in second chances. Again, people are only human.

I believe that time is one of the best gifts you can give.

I believe that my friends are one of God’s greatest gifts to me. They just get me.

I believe in the power of good hair products. Team Paul Mitchell all the way!

I believe in never giving up. Just when you think it’s hopeless, God’s grace rains down on you.

I believe in taking risks. You never know. You might miss out on something amazing.

I believe that God gives you talents for a reason. Utilizing those talents in a positive way is your way of saying “Thank you!” to Him.

I believe in giving more than you take. No one has ever become poor by giving.

I believe that ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’ by Mitch Albom is the best book of all time. I’m not a huge reader, but this book was well worth the time.

I believe that no TV show will ever compare to Pretty Little Liars. My obsession is kind of ridiculous.

 I believe in fate.

I believe that it's perfectly okay to take pride in your appearance. Flaunt it!

 I believe in Karma wholeheartedly.

I believe that being a gracious musician is one of the most important qualities an artist can possess.

I believe that there's more to life than just what I can see.

I believe in following your heart. Sounds cliché, but it’ll always make you happy.

I believe that although no single earthly being can fix the world's problems, you should at least try. Be the change you wish to see in the world.

I believe that everyone has their weaknesses. Some just hide them better than others and that’s okay.

I believe that doing a good thing with bad intentions will only come back to haunt you. Spitefulness is the worst.

I believe that we all deserve to be with someone who wants to be with us as well. Don’t settle until you find your perfect person.

I believe that the sunshine always follows the rain.

I believe in the therapeutic power of a long drive alone with country music blasting.

I believe that it's okay to not have it all together in your 20s. Literally no one does.

I believe that we take so many things for granted. Something bad has to happen for us to sincerely appreciate all that God has given us and that’s really sad. Always be grateful.

I believe that first impressions are everything. Don’t mess it up! ;)

I believe that we should embrace change with grace. It could be the greatest thing that’s ever happened.

I believe that everyone should find their passion. Wrap it up and keep it in your pocket because that’s what you are destined to do.

I believe that having confidence in yourself is a must.

I believe in forgiveness. Holding grudges is only slowly killing you.

I believe that you should live to inspire.

I believe that there's a fighter in all of us. Throw on your “bullet proof vest” and take on whatever life throws at you.

I believe that God has blessed me with much more than I deserve. Forever thankful.

I believe in the power of prayer. God hears and He answers.

I believe that life's easier when you just "go with the flow". Don’t worry about the things you have no control over.

I believe that nothing will haunt you like the words you don't say.

I believe that the simple pleasures in life such as the warmth of the sunshine on your face and the sound of laughter are the best things.

I believe that those who belittle you without getting to know you are the saddest people.

I believe that being remembered is much more important than just getting noticed.

I believe that people only say negative things about innocent people when they are threatened.

I believe that once you stop dwelling on the past, your present and your future become amazing.

I believe that sometimes God gives you a "no" in place of a bigger "yes".

I believe that people will always remember the way you made them feel. Go out of your way to make them feel special.

I believe that life is what you make it. Make good choices, love with your whole heart, and don’t be afraid to live life to its absolute fullest.

Here’s to 2015! Let’s make it killer! Xoxo
